My Money Matters: Scam Awareness
On Tuesday the 16th of July, we hosted a Scam Awareness workshop for our community. The workshop was proudly supported by Bendigo Bank & Community Bank East Ivanhoe.
Our FREE one-hour seminar was designed to assist individuals and their loved ones in recognising and avoiding scams. During the session, participants learned about:
Types of scams and how to spot them
How to avoid scams and practical steps to be safer
Where to get help and support
Following the workshop, a financial counsellor was available to answer questions and refer attendees to nearby support services.
