Banyule City Council
Supports the Neighbourhood Houses who provide people of all ages and backgrounds with places to meet, share, exchange information and learn together in supportive and nurturing environments.
Banyule has six dynamic neighbourhood houses and learning centres located in Bundoora, Greensborough, Ivanhoe, Rosanna, Watsonia and Heidelberg West.
Olympic Village Exodus Community
The Olympic Village Exodus Community has been present in the Olympic Village, Heidelberg West since 1998, attempting to meet identified emerging needs of local residents. The Community began at the invitation of the parish priest of St Pius X, Heidelberg West.
Currently, the live-in members of the Exodus Community are three Marist Brothers, Harry Prout, Doug Walsh and Barry Lamb. They volunteer their services to the Community and its ministries. Central to the ministries of the Community is inclusion of local people in all aspects of work. Exodus Community is currently supported by around 50 volunteers. Exodus collaborates with many other local organizations in its ministry.
BANSIC
Banyule Support and Information Centre Inc. is a not for profit incorporated association established to provide services for the relief of poverty, suffering, distress, misfortune or helplessness within the southern area of the City of Banyule.
Himilo Community Connect
Himilo Community Connect is a community led project that exists to improve education, employment, health and social cohesion outcomes for the Australian-Somali community of West Heidelberg.
The Social Studio
Using fashion as a vehicle for positive change and pathways for people from new migrant and refugee backgrounds – particularly youth – we exist as a not-for-profit social enterprise that champions the values of diversity, community, and education
Learn Local
OAE is a Learn Local provider who can help you get the skills you need for study, work and life. We offer a range of training programs that can help you return to study, improve your digital, reading, writing and maths skills, get a job, change careers or learn something new. Learn Local is funded by the State Government of Victoria.
Skills First
Skills First is a program funded by the Victorian Government Department of Education and Training to subsidise training in Foundation Courses and Vocational Training Courses across Victoria.
The Rotary Club of Ivanhoe
The Rotary Club of Ivanhoe supports OAE and provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Melbourne Polytechnic
OAE partners with Melbourne Polytechnic and the Melbourne AMEP consortium to deliver the Federally funded Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). Melbourne Polytechnic is the lead agent for the consortium.
Melbourne AMEP
The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs. AMEP is a free service to help eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants with low English levels to improve their English language skills and settle into Australia.
Learning English will help you participate more fully in Australian life. You will learn new skills to help you work and make friends in Australia. AMEP provides other services including:

free translation of your qualifications and other documents
