Olympic Neighbourhood House is a child safe organisation.

We are committed to providing a safe environment where children and young people feel safe and empowered.

Olympic Neighbourhood House:

Has zero tolerance for child abuse
Actively works to listen to and empower children
Aas systems to protect children from abuse, and will take all allegations and concerns very seriously and responds to them consistently in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures and current legislation
Is committed to promoting cultural safety for Aboriginal children, cultural safety for children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to providing a safe environment for children with a disability
Ensures appropriate people are engaged and are provided with ongoing professional development opportunities

Olympic Neighbourhood House is proud to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people as the traditional custodians of the country where we work. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people part of this community. We admire their generosity, hope and ongoing efforts to support and foster community. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land. Sovereignty was never ceded.
